- Roll out the carpet face up in the installation space
- Maintain temperatures between 65°F and 95°F
- Keep humidity levels between 10% and 65%
If materials have been stored in colder environments, allow additional time for acclimation. Be sure to also follow manufacturer guidelines for adhesives and seam sealers.
Efficient Installation Process
Kanga’s attached cushion system eliminates the need for stretching or tack strips, making installation faster and more efficient. Once acclimated, cut the carpet to fit the room—remembering to allow at least two inches of overlap for seams. To install:
- Fold back half of the carpet to expose the subfloor

- Create a “V” pattern from the corners toward the center
- Smooth the carpet into place from the center outward
